SPIRE: Symposium on the Politics of Immigration, Race, and Ethnicity
I helped co-founder and co-organizer of SPIRE, Symposium on the Politics of Immigration, Race, and Ethnicity. SPIRE is a regularly-held, one-day conference at various universities. Previous meetings have been held at Yale University, University of Pennsylvania, Yale University, and Indiana University.
SPIRE's purpose is to workshop research in progress by both faculty and graduate students on the politics of immigration, race and ethnicity. The goal is to provide constructive feedback for revisions and eventual publication of work.
Meetings are scheduled to typically occur in early May. Please visit our website for more information.
